This is my 85 Svo sitting 17" wheels. The konis, lower control arms and swaybar bushings are all relatively new 20-30k miles. Looks similar to your car I think.

Thank you for this link, the 1st one you posted doesn't work for me.
Who's doing the rebuilds?
Hop on Facebook and check with steve schlodes for a head, hes very reasonable.
The thing with the cometic gasket is it requires a surface finish that most shops can't actually give. Its a level of smoothness that can't be discermed by hand. It take an expensive scanner.
Your right, the compressor bracket will be the tricky part. I have part numbers for almost everything else.
Mike was there a part number on the accumulator/drier?
Going with an 8.8 this time?
The problem is not that if they work but for how long. The deal is the HR980 wasn't ment for those pressures and its not rebuildable.
Mike I don't know what you'll run into with the belt conversion and tbird parts. However I was lucky enough to be in contact with the last guy to buy a hose wizards kit. The part numbers for items...
Bingo chalky had the aluminium flywheel and drive shaft and it was noisy bugger.
I am currently running a freshly cut 86 spec svo cam from deltacams in my 85 svo and I love the street manners. But I'm curious if anyone has dyno sheets for the boport 1.1 & 1.5? I'm curious to...
Another catch can you can look at is the Tracy Lewis dual port Monster can. Theres 2 versions the sealed RX version or the signature can that can be opened and cleaned... The signature one is what...
I have a NOS passenger headlight.
That's what I though on my last motor till we realized the guy went to big on the piston to wall clearance.
All he lists on his site is that its 436" advertised lift.
Between the ranger roller you have now and the bo1.5. Basically do all your other changes such as the cam and exhaust manifold. Then dyno that set up with the ranger cam, then swap cams and repeat....
To bad its so damn expensive and time consuming but an A/B dyno test between the two cams would be interesting.
All of boports cams are rollers.
Unfortunately he has passed away. Depending on your access to tools you could piece one of these kits together. Hardest part will probably be fabing up the compressor mounting bracket.
Its possible that the coolant switch for the fan has gone bad, but keep in mind the stock one kicks the fan on at like 210*ish. You can always put a painless brand switch part number 30110 kicks the...
I asked the RonDavis sales rep when I bought mine and basically some racing rules don't allow them due to high probability of leaking.
No... Thats why I had to cut mine off order the correct size and pay a local guy to weld them on. So your kinda back to checking summit for a 86-99ish ranger 2.3L radiator.
For me if I was start over with another svo that wasn't a 80k mile or less survivor.... I'd do these things: the 3g swap first; put the cooling fan on a relay to remove the load off the stock...
