VAM stock hose replacement

Anyone found a nice silicone hose replacement for the stock one? Both my SVOs have stock hoses and the spring inside is no longer there to keep the structure of the hose. What solutions are out there that work decent with VAM in stock location?

Take the hose with you into the grocery store and find an appropriately sized soup/bean/fruit can. Cut out both ends, remove contents, clean and insert into hose.
