The brass fitting on my turbo appears to be stripped and is leaking oil from where the flared fitting screws into it. Where can I get a replacement fitting and/or what thread size does the fitting have? Does it have to be a brass fitting?

It's a standard brass 90* inverted flare to pipe fitting. Any parts store or hardware store that has Weatherhead fittings should have a replacement. Just bring the old one with you.

Make sure the internal hole is AT LEAST 0.125" all the way through. Drill (and scrupulously clean) as needed.

Thanks for the advice Mike. The fitting I bought is correct except now I can't seem to align it with the feed line. No matter how I screw it in it does not line up. Is there a secret to this?

Go tighter if needed.

If the inverted flare end won't line up, you may have bent the tube slightly when removing it. Double check that the fitting lines up with the nut. Getting it to thread in by hand to start with is preferable to forcing it on or stripping it

Fixed it......apparently, the nut got cross threaded the last time I work on it. Thanks for the help.
