Hey all, it's been a few month of lack of activity here for me. Had a huge health scare this fall involving the C word and the dreaded P organ, but after a pant-load (yeah I know, it's a technical term) of worrying, diagnostic and other testing (external and internal...and some really freakin' painful) and consulting with various doctors and specialists...

All is well .. At least for right now. With my previous cancer history...Doctors are quick to point out that these things "do happen again"

I was basically, up to this point, dusting off my Will and figuring out who was getting my stuff as the prognosis for this type of suspected C of the P organ is..well "go home and think about what to do with the 6 months of the life you may have left (but probably don't)...." Needless to say, even with my meager medical background, I've become a bit of an subject matter authority in this field. However if I read another medical journal, randomized double-blind clinical trial study or white paper, I'm gonna puke!

After getting relatively EXCELLENT news from my P organ, C specialist MD last week, and I will tell you, this type of good news is RARE in this department... I took to the garage and my partially disemboweled 86 2R with renewed vigor. I did all my wrenching while performing handsprings of joy too....

So, the long and the short of it is that the motor is basically ready to finally go in (out since August) but I am having trouble finding the B6 Grade Marked ASTM A193 heat treated bolts that secure the Ford 5-bolt exhaust outlet/wastegate housing to the turbine side of the T3/T4. Since they all broke off in the old trashed T3 housing, I don't have any idea what size and length they even are. I did notice the head of one was Grade Marked B6.

Any ideas?

Glad to be back among the living..I'll get some pictures up soon. Just got a new iphone and it's kicking my butt. I am a Luddite after all.;)

8mm x 1.5mm x 20mm long. With a 13mm hex head.

Iirc they come in the T3 hardware kits. I saw a link for them recently (the hardware kits) - will search again and post when i find them.

Congrats on the GOOD health news!
