Guys, who makes a quality replacement TPS for our cars ? I was under the impression Ford discontinued it a while back.

the autozone replacement is slotted as needed and works great.

Any of the aftermarket ones will work fine - they're all slotted for adjustment and come with at least a one year warranty (classified as an emissions part).

I think that the Early (larger connector) TPS was superseded (with pigtail adapter) for a while. That may have changed and BOTH aren't available (to order) but I'm sure there are many in dealerships - if you have a parts guy that will use the locator.

IF you are doing a concours restoration and need a Ford part - you should let us know!

Mark
P.S. For those of you at Ford Carlisle in 2011 I brought a large bag of NOS Ford electronics to the tent and offered any for $5 each (there were TPS's, TFI's, ECT's and Relays) in it. I forgot it and Gator took it home - I asked him to send to Ken Potter. When Ken said he was "selling his cars" -I asked him to send to Kendal (knowing he could use them) I don't think he did so they are out there! (In OH)

Thank you guys very much for your answer ! No, this car is as far from concours as one can get, as a matter of fact I had cut the old connector off of the engine harness and went weatherpak instead, don't remember why, but I did.
I have checked at my local suppliers, sans dealerships, and all of them do not stock this and want me to pay shipping to have it brought in, which is fine, I just wanted to make double darn sure they got what I needed.
As is obvious, I have no qualms about putting whatever connector setup need on either side but I know that our cars are very particular of what is put on.
Oreillys gave me a part # of EC1030, unless you guys know otherwise, I will have them bring it in and try it.
Best Regards and Happy New Year !

Neither can the concours guys. Don't sweat it.
