What happened to the sigs? I had to seriously hack mine to get the software to accept it. I can understand the (4) line limit but is there any way to increase the character limit? I had to cut it down to 70 characters and lose my fancy font before it would accept it.
On TF I have my guidelines are set at (3) lines and 150 characters and I can change them through my admin controls.

I have contacted the "powers that be" and am just venting, my apologies.

I got banned (and ragged) by Bud at SVOCA when they limited signature to "4 lines"!!

He didn't like when I changed it to ;

I agree that some more characters and lines allowed would be nice. Nice to be able to list mods in the signature so its there for all to see when asking tech questions

- Modifications change over time, and signatures may or may not get updated - while the technical thread about the "symptoms" being diagnosed does not. So the tech data in the threads and associated solution(s) eventually becomes irrelevant - based on signature mods.

- Signatures are not searchable - they are not part of the post content (they're attached to the user profile only).

- Folks have a profile setting available to disable signature display. They wouldn't see the "mods data".

Just sayin'.
