Hi,

Is there a list of the supporting vendors on the site? I occasionally see a pink 'vendor' label under someone Avatar but no information about who they work for. Some are obvious :) but I figure if I'm going to buy something I want to go to someone who supported our hobby.

Thanks,

Chris

Chris,

There is not such a list just yet. We are working on Vendor details & look for them to come soon in 2013.

In the mean time, here is a short list of my personal favorites:
Bo-Port (http://www.bo-port.com/) <Click on link
Killian's Porting (http://killiansportingservice.com/) <click on link(Warner Robbins, GA & his work is on par with Bo's work if you don't want to ship to CA)
The Fox Shoppe (Found on Face Book)
Fox Mustang Restoration (http://www.foxresto.com/) <Click on link
Frank's Head & Engine Service (Griffin, GA) {It's one of the most complete automotive Machine Shops in your area (770) 229-1888, ask for Frank or Mark}
Maximum Motorsports (http://www.maximummotorsports.com/store/) <Click on link

Thanks.

Bo-Port head is on order (should ship any day!) but thanks for the Killian's pointer.
Found out about Frank's after I had a local shop do the machine work (Goza Performance in Acworth).

If I'm ever crazy enough to do this again I'll keep them in mind.

Thanks,

Chris

Mitch listed his favorites and to that list and at the top would be Bob Tweedy(firsthero) for leather. He supplies steering wheels, shift knobs and e brake handles. You will not find better work and service! I have also gotten some of Pats 3G conversion wiring which was good. I have been satisfied with the stuff I have gotten from Stinger ie injectors and exhaust stuff, good service too. I also got a t56 adapter and the TC mileage module from Caroth. The timing pointer from FEP is a nice piece. I like the book from David Larocque and Mikes book is a great reference too(although I can never seem to get it back when I lend it out. Its been gone now for 6 months)I would buy product from any of these folks without hesitation!

Just a little disclaimer... I am a little impartial to Frank's since its my dad's shop. But you are dealing with over 40 years of proven engine building experience in drag racing, circle track racing, truck pulling, & your every day street machine. Mark has built many 2.3/2.5 roundy round motors that kick ass.
