"LA2" , "3.0L Taurus Sable only" ? Can the seller answer why he called it a LA3?
Some people have jumpered inside the box rather than repin the harness connector. Did you possibly repin when you didn't need to?

"LA2" , "3.0L Taurus Sable only" They are all labeled that way. Generic label.
Some folks don't like to swap wiring in the car and prefer to be able to switch EECs faster. However it's a LOT of work to remove the huma-seal on the EEC boards just to do the soldering.

I didnt swap pins. Once I go junkyarding for a square intake ill swap the injectors and ecu again.
I won it for 20$ so not a big deal if it didn't work.

I've wired LA2's like that in the past and had no issues. I always thought the LA computers made the car run better. Especially after you add the IAT sensor.
