MM Torque arm or Hoosier A6s, paper or plastic....(??)

Contemplating my next annual handling upgrade while also considering cost:fun ratio. Picked up some nice 17" tri-bar wheels last fall for almost nothing, thinking about some 17" A6s for autocrossing. Cost: around $1200.

Or...get the MM torque arm. Cost (also considering need for different rear springs/shocks): around $800.

1) Any estimates on how many auto-X events I can get out of set of A6s?
2) For those of you running the torque arm, any thought, likes/dislikes?

Judging by Sturgis results, I'd say get the tires first and worry about the rest of the upgrades later.

Depends on if you run the A6s to the cord or discard them when the wear indicators say so. The A6s you ran on at Sturgis were past the wear indicators and they still stuck good.
I have gotten 2 plus seasons out of them before they corded; 1 season before the wear indicators said it was time for them to go.
Your results may vary. ;)

I'd keep a spare set of tires for the times it isn't quite as important to get a good time (such as autocross school).

Tires. Never ran A6's. Bought some gently used Nitto NT01's and they stuck very well, really like them. Sticky tires, and are wearing very good.
