I was perusing ebay tonight and i found someone selling some nos Ford motorsport oversize valves for a 2.3.
Now I'm thinking that sure would be fun to have them for a future head rebuild for my car. The trouble is that will turn into a big snowball rolling down hill:)

You will need some port & bowl work to use them to any useful degree. Granted they will make the effective valve opening profile of any cam lobe larger, but the peak airflow values will not improve without the port & bowl work.

Oh I know. Its just wishful thinking at this point since I dont have the extra money.
I do have another head that already has all the work done, but it came off a n/a motor so I dont know what the compression would come out to be with a stock piston because it was shaved just enough to make sure it was flat.
As far as the ports matching, I think I'm ok there.

Just measure the chambers with the valves closed and an appropriate spark plug installed. You can easily calculate the CR from there.

Most of the CR diff between a NA and turbo engine is made up with the piston, except the heart-shaped heads.
