I plan to pull the head & turbo for a rebuild and have some questions on parts. Not looking for more HP, just a refresh for a stock motor

For cam I have a complete roller set up from a 93 2.3 fox. I assume this will be the same as the Ranger roller and will work correct?

Head will get a standard valve job/guides/seals.

What are recommendations for head gasket and new head bolts? I have used ARP bolts on my 5.0's but don't see any application for the 2.3 Turbo.

Turbo will be sent to Evergreen for a standard rebuild. I saw a Turbo T bird that had a broken oil return tube replaced with a plate fitted with AN fittings and braided flex line. Looked like the way to go as the stock tube isn't available. Any recommendations/suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Sounds like you have it figured out. If the roller followers are for 11/32nd valves your good. I think Stinger sells the braided oil line, check his site. On a stock motor head bolts from the parts house should be fine. If you have the 12 point heads I beleive you can reuse them, Mike will probubly let you know if I am wrong.

If you are replacing the turbo or having it rebuilt, it's recommended you replace the feed line as well.

I think i still have a couple stock drain lines packed away. I can check when i get back in town.

Thanks,

Yes if you have a stock line let me know. Stock Ford head gasket OK?

Head gasket is a Fel-Pro 8993, turbo gasket kit is ES72811. Use the original Ford valve stem seals, E7ZZ-6571-A & E7ZZ-6571-B. Also, get yourself the re-useable valve cover gasket, F57Z-6584-A, the regular part store ones are crap!!!.

ARP make a stud kit 151-4202 but it doesn't look like they make regular bolts. Apart from ease of installation you probably don't need studs.
