FYI - fitting a newer rack into an '84 SVO

Wanted to share the following 2 part numbers:

Edelmann 71116,71180

These are the return and pressure hoses for the power steering system. The stock lines on an '84 will not work with most remanufactured racks, you need these lines.

i bought the hoses for a 1987 mustang GT configuration on rockauto. many parts stores do not list these hoses for 84,85,nor 86 SVOs, probably due to possible discrepancies.

just verified that they work yesterday.

Exactly what I had to do when I put the later rack in my old 84. Just had the AZ guy get me a hose for 85 GT.
