Is there a rebuild kit for the '84 power steering? Mines going out and leaking.

You might be ableto get a seal kit from Ford, but I'd recommend that you not attempt to do it yourself. Special tools are needed to warm nad stretch the teflon dseas - it is not an easy jo. And installing the end seals requires a long seal installer that no one has.
Check with DaveS - he knows a rebuilder that may do the TRW racks.
Otherwise replace with a Ford HP rack. You will need a different pressure hose though.

Mike,
Just the pump is going out and leaking everywhere. When turning the pump starts "pulsing" the steering wheel and squeaking loudly. It also squeaks at idle. Very annoying! Everything else seems very snug and tight. I thought about just buying a rebuilt one, but I'm trying to keep everything Motorcraft. Probably easlier to just find one at a junk yard.

the pumps are dirt cheap, even a motorcraft pump shouldn't run you that much
