The SVO swaybar is officially 1.20" diameter. The numbers on the MM website are the diameters of the swaybar bushings on the page. In a couple cases (the SVO for instance), the aftermarket doesn't make the exact correct size. We sell the next larger size as a replacement. Since these bushings usually run on the tight side, this is never a fitment problem.

I bought the correct size for mine at the local parts store. Maybe you should check there. By the way I am a Machinist and I know how to read a mic, the sway bar is 1.187.

Mr. Coker,

The nominal diameter of the swaybar is 1.20". 1.187" represents only a 1% change. It is entirely possible that other SVO front swaybars will have an OD of 1.213". This would be a case of the wire diameter having a +/-1% tolerance which is certainly reasonable to expect.

If your particular swaybar has an OD of 1.187", this is exactly 1-3/16". This is a commercially available size. However in most cases, this would result in the polyurethane having preload on the OD of the swaybar. This should be avoided to minimize friction. In this case it is better to use a bushing that is slightly larger to avoid friction.
