Hello,

Curious as to what Wide Band O2 setups you are using on your SVO? Any preferences or ones to avoid? Looking for feedback before purchase.

thanks,
jack

I'm using a Zeitronix unit. It has an input section for an EGT probe and logs that info (top to bottom) Wideband data, RPM, EGT, TPS, MAF, and time scale on bottom.

Some sample output.

all the wideband O2 sensors are the same thing, only the controller and gauge are different. go with whatever one has the price/gauge/controller functionality that you require.

I am running and LC-1 on my SVO. Seems to work great, just as accurate as the LM-1. The wiring is more difficult to get right with the LC-1 but if you follow the directions, it works great!

Great. I am looking at the Innovative unit. I heard that the AEM unit is pretty decent. I need one that is compatible with the Pimp Sytem offered by Stinger.

Thanks for the responses.

Curious as to the best place to place the bung for the sensor. Any recommendations?

thanks

At least 18 inches downstream of the turbo outlet. Before the CAT.

I actually have mine in the stock location but have a large copper heat sink installed and am using one of the spark plug antifoul extenders to keep the tip of the sensor out of the direct line of hottest air coming out of the turbo. Page 6 of this document details the heat sink: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/support/manual/LM1_Manual.pdf

I am also running a semi divorced exhaust housing so the pre turbo exhaust is well below the sensor. It has been working well for me for several months now and working like this for year with Johnk on turboford.

I had my LM-1 and LC-1 hooked up at the same time, datalogged the two and was within 3% of the same readings, close enough for me.

I have an early Zietronics and have mounted like Caroth and at the cat. I usually replace the cat with one that has the bung at the front and back of the cat for easy mounting of the o2 sensor. How about a pic of your exhaust housing Caroth.
