hello,
i bought 2x motorcraft PN# MES2150R (http://wiki.rockauto.com/1984%20FORD%20MUSTANG%202.3L%20140cid%20L4%20Turbocharged%20 SOHC_Tie%20Rod%20End_1133660_7428) (aka #9UZ13713A, FOZZ3V130AA, RM3U2J7G497XA), these are the outer tie rod ends.
lo and behold, the castle nuts that are included with them simply will not thread onto the ball joint studs. they are included in a separate baggy.
anyone had this issue?
i'm 90% positive that the castle nuts included are simply the wrong thread size, they look like they're too coarse of a thread.
what is the correct castle nut size for an OEM outer tie rod?
i'm kind of pissed at ford, seeing as how these were $37 EACH
