Do the early suck through carb'd turbo 2.3ts come with forged internals?

Crank and rods are the same from all 2.3L OHC engines (1974 - 1989+). The ring package for all 2.3L turbo engines (carb'd and EFI) are also the same,

According to SAE Paper 790312, Turbocharging Ford's 2.3 Liter Spark Ignition Engine:

Pistons:
Aluminum alloy, forged full skirt, cam machined, increased 2nd ring land width, decreased pin offset, increased dome thickness. Flat-top, 9.0:1 CR.

Top Comp Ring:
Nodular iron, moly coated

Lower Comp Ring:
Cast iron, taper-faced, chrome plate

Piston Fit:
0.0034 - 0.0042"
