Put the LA3 in his car today for him, and installed the washer that guides the timing belt... I still need to run air charge temp sensor and convert BCS to the later TC style so it works on the premium switch like he wants.... I'll just include the vid of it running... he can make this his build thread and do updates here if he wants? This things nice, you could eat off the under neath... even the engine and trans.. I hope I did the attachments right...

Vid link from other thread...
So anyway we had set TDC, cam timing, etc, and I played with the dizzy once and it fired to life.... ran rough for a bit until we found the one intercooler hose was super looose.... also.. its an early 85, with a 4 square and brown tops, but, has a PJ green top EEC. So I told him it's either shell out for a PE or get an LA....which i''ll re pin....

BUT... This is what we wanted anyways... enjoy!

It runs light years better, but I notice it still has a rough idle and I noticed in one of his pics I took, what I think I found is gonna be a huge vacuum leak where the PCV valve goes into the lower hose going to the block separator.. also.. it has an injector or three leaking on the lower intake so that has to be remedied as well.. if they are leaking on top, [fuel] its likely they are leaking vacuum.. work in progress wish my car looked like this under hood and underneath lol...

What about the shocks, they're VERY red!!!! I would have to disagree. I think they are more of a Coquelicot (http://www.workwithcolor.com/red-orange-color-hue-range-01.htm).
