Am looking for a part number for a after market centre flex line that feeds the rear end? I have the front & rear flex lines , my parts suppler does not have listing for the center flex line , don't know why every thing for brake system but this line ?? Help I need this to complete my brake over haul .

Which year are you working on?? IIRC there are two different part numbers.

I hate to say it, but I've not been able to find that hose in the aftermarket. I finally bought an NOS one from Greg. And felt bad about it cause I'm not a restorer.

If you find something, let us know.

Sorry its 1985 ' I know its a Lincoln part if am not mistaken ?? My other flex lines are made be Raybestos , What Lincoln Model am thinking Mark VII ??

I take my hoses to any local hose shop I can find and they normally have no problem making it in stainless braid. Its normally allot cheaper then buying the aftermarket ones.

If you are using a 8.8 with a center brake hose use the one for the GT 87 up. If you are using a 7.5 center hose use one for a 85 GT. If you are using the 84-early 85 with the hose on the passenger side use one for a regular mustang in 84. The center mount ones are the same except for the bracket. Reason for the center mount is when they went to duals it was in the way.

That one will work for the 84 and early 85. The others have a 4 inch or so bracket made on the hose and mount at the center of the rear end.

Isnt there someone who is making them in braided stainless??? There used to be anyway.

Well guys , I found my brake hose its listed as 85 GT mustang , I was at the jobber today asked if he could pull up picture low and behold the picture was exact to letter correct in all detail to my original from my car . Kendal you where correct , I want to thank everone that came to my rescue .
