turbo rebuild kits

Who or where is a good place to get a rebuild kit for my stock '84 turbo??
The valve seals are shot in my car and if the head is off, maybe see about doing the turbo too.

Any turbo place could order one for you. You need to know if you have a carbon seal or the other one with the spring and seal. Just make marks with a marker so you get the compressor wheel and turbine wheel lined back up they are balanced.

I have rebuilt several turbos. You can get kits many places just make sure you get a kit with the good bronze bearings, full thrust, ect. But to tell you the truth anymore I have Charlie at Evergreen do it for me. They just seem to last where as the ones I have rebuilt have gone out eventually. Call and talk with Charlie either way(be forewarned that he will talk forever!)The good thing about using Charlie is, if you need a another part he has it. Need a compressor housing or wheel, he has it. Perfectly balanced and clean too. If you want to upgrade a little bit, you can give you good advice. In the long run it ends up being cheap.
