Just wondering what you guys get for mileage. Mine is an 86 with the 3.73's and I've gotten a best of 23 all highway doing about 70mph.

I used to have an 88 turbocoupe and it got 30+ on a few occasions. But I think those had a 3.45 gear.

I have 3.27 in my 84 with a 4 speed and stock tires on ten holes and get between 18-26 depending on my mood or road :)
I was getting 28 every tank when I had a 1.5 hour drive each day that was almost entirely 55mph

That's right in the ballpark of what I used to get for both vehicles.

The best i got out of my Modded 84 with a PE - 237 - B/V head plus other thangs . . .was 31mpg heading home from
SVOCA Reunion. The reason i do believe was 3:45 with a 88 turbo coupe T-5 trans with 17 inch that a little taller than stock.

RPMs were3971

Gotcha, just wanted to make sure it was inline with everybody else.

Those darn 3.73's! But man they make a 1st through 2nd gear blast fun!

Bone stock 1985 SVO got steady 26 mpg highway. My worked 1984 SVO with 4.10 gears would get 21 mpg.

30+ on the highway, 22 or better in town. Not stock SVO, 3.55 gears.

Bumping the closed loop RPM parameters in the EEC code will increase the fuel economy, or keep the RPMs below 2950. A $60 chip is all you need.
