Dual exhaust on 84 and early 85

I am in the middle of putting the stinger exhaust set up from the dp back. I removed the external pump already and running a 255. I ran the longer ranger filter but I need more room any pics or suggestions. I think I might be able to move the fuel lines around but just need some input. Thanks

Can someone please chime in. I have been searching like crazy. From what I have gathered up I think I might need to replace the rear passenger side brake hose. I am running the 3 inch elbow and 3" dp with a flex pipe welded on. Also have the 3" pipe before the y all installed. I have the y pipe,spin tech mufflers and tail pipes left. I would really like some input I'll even post a video of the spin techs in the muffler thread. Just need to know what I can do. A link to a write up would be nice. Pics would really help. This massive drone is killing me

I didn't do stinger exhaust if this is for an SVO (just a guess that it is lol) umm we did a single straight pipe all the way and had no issues. We had someone else do it for us though so that might be why it was so easy! :P...BUTTTT We did my GT's exhaust on our own with a full magnaflow system and that got a little sketchy. I'm not sure what your actual issue is, if you are running exhaust back on the drivers side, nothing should be in your way and it tucks up REALLY high into the back wheel well and you only have to watch for brake lines and gas returns on the tip (shouldn't be an issue). The right side (wrong side for the exhaust btw) should be simple too. The Ranger filter should be the replacement in line part (we used that) and is on the rail, this will probably be in the way...have you considering putting a bigger bend in the DP to get closer to the drive shaft without hitting the damper that is under the trans? That might be one way to do it...if all goes to heck, just do a side exhaust cuz it's unique and sick! it's already unoriginal to have the exhaust on the passenger side...Let's keep in mind with my comment that I'm 18, have owned an SVO for less than a year and my dad has done most all of the work with me on the GT! So I really hope this helps, my dad has undercarriage pictures and I do not so I'm sorry :P

Pretty sure my GT's exhaust is an H pipe exhaust so I won't know anything about Y pipes and the SVO is a single straight back with the cross over happening before the trans dampener

I've never heard of anyone running duals on an 84. Probably why there is no reply.

The only way to do this "correctly" is to re-run the brake and fuel lines down the Trans tunnel like on the 85.5-6. Otherwise you stand a good chance of cooking your fuel filter, = explosion, or melting your rear brake line. Either way, bad things will happen!!
