Early '84 needs a steering rack

I found a slapper bar equiped '84 today at a garage that the owner is fixing up a little bit and would like to find a rack for it, what does he need to do to get a new rack into that car???

Does it have a rack in it? Dave Schmitt has a contact in KY that rebuilds them at a reasonable price.

If its the original rack then its a TRW 20:1. These can be rebuilt with the right kit

Also I have seen these on e bay.

I had a local shop rebuild as they have pressure test set up.
