I remember reading on another site that Mike liked the ACdelco clutch cable, I tried to order it off Rockauto and it says it is no longer available. They do list an ATP part#Y220, says it's 60 inches. Anyone have any experience with ATP clutch cables? Thanks.

I used an Autozone cable on my 82 Capri a couple of years ago & had no problems with it. My younger brother is still driving the crap out of it & no problems.

Thanks for the info, I didn't want to put one on and have it snap in a week.

im thinking excessive oil usually causes the cables to untwine at the pivot point. Mine was doing that anyways before replacing it.
