Last weeks project. Pictures didn't load in order but you get the idea.
The rust is only light surface and came off easily. car has been in north central TX all the time so no corrosion issues.

ACC Carpet fit OK with just a little extra effort as did the new dash pad from Late Model.

That aluminum backed dynamat works great. Stinger Road Kill works just as well & it's slightly cheaper in price. There are several other sound deadening suppliers out there. Don't go cheap on the sound deadening, you will not like the results.

Dynamat works very well, I used it as the insulation blanket on the ACC carpet isn't as thick as the original and the factory.

I used sound deadening insulation used around house AC/heater ducts on my car. Made a huge difference.

I wish I had been able to read these comments about the value of sound deadening products before I re-installed my newly cleaned carpet a couple of months ago.
