Slapper Bar Rubber

The rubber sleeves on the slapper bars are split. Anybody know of what replacement material that I could use?

I too have a slapper bar car. Not enough slapper bar cars built let alone left to find these parts. Remove and measure then look for sources for rubber. That's all I can say!

You can always look for a good used set-these came on 83-early 84 gt mustang's as well.

I might have a good used set and I know I have a NOS set kicking around somewhere.

Actually, as I understand it, more than 70% of all 84 SVOs were slapper bar cars. That means that about 1/3 of all SVOs were produced with slappers.

The cutoff point was mid-December, 1983. All SVOs made after mid-December, 83 were quad-shock cars.
