Thump in rear of car

This could be driveline or suspension...
When I shift unless I really do it gently there is a thump in the rear of the car. U joints are good, car has been converted to quad shock 8.8. Any usual suspects to check?

check all the rear bushings chances are some will be worn

I can't find the thread that speaks of which bushings should be poly and which rubber? This is just a sunny day driver no auto X.

If it is just a sunny day driver
I am sure new rubber bushings in all the rear parts would be a world of difference compared to the 30 y.o.
ones in there.
