New Carpet Install...

All,
have the new carpet outside in the sun. I was wondering if anyone had the measurements for where the holes should go for the shifter and ebrake, or is each install unique and you just measure from the front? I did one last summer and it worked out ok, but just wondering.

I would lay the carpet in the car and figure out the hole from there.

I used the old carpet as a template

+2 for using the old carpet as a template. It will save you a lot of hassle.

Measure multiple times cut once. Check the backing of the carpet, mine had outlines for all the cut areas and it turned out that they were spot on. If yours doesn't have that, I would measure it in the car, use a sharpie and poke holes around the perimeter of the cut areas.
