American Idle?

Ok the SVO is running at its best since I have it. New injectors and fuel filter cured a bunch of issues. Developed a few new ones along the way. COLD start is a 3 try then it runs, previous it started right up. Idle is what I would consider rough however the last SVO I drove was in 86. I am attaching videos for your humble opinions (YHO). I cant find any vacuum leaks and under boost she runs great, best above 3000 RPM or below 1000, sometimes rough in that 1-3k band but not as bad before a few tweaks and the new injectors. Please share your thoughts?

The 86 should have an engine damper, but the engine damper failing or loose should not cause that kind of eratic movement under idle.

I think the heat is getting to me but I think I found the issue. Started pulling plug wires with the engine running and #2 has no change wire off or on. there is spark at the cap. Either wire or plug or both are bad?:confused:

Got new wires and put them on, still ran like crap. Ran inside to pull up the firing order on the computer and realized that the 3&4 cyl were backwards. I bet those orig. wires were good! It amazing how nice the car runs now in all RPM bands with the correct firing order :like2:mission accomplished.......

Mike once again you are right. I have been banished from any full engine forums to the 1/2 engine club. I hope to get this right so I can have a place I call home.
