Engine cleaning?

Any suggestions and tips to tidy engine bay? Most grease has been removed paint dust from body shop is everywhere. Products that work best? Hose techniques to not fry electrics? Thank you!

I used a 2 gal pump up sprayer like the type used for weed killer. It is low pressure but they have adjustable spray nozzle. Try warm water with a little Dawn then go over again with plain water

Sounds like you got a Base coat clear coat paint job.

AFTER cleaning as best you can - USE ICE (wax) to removed the "mung"! It is clear so after removing it doesn't show. It takes MANY HOURS and all kinds of access tools and Qtips to remove the mung.
