Was driving home from work in my svo it started
to feel like it was missing. When I came to a light it
started to run really rough and stalled I started it back
up and it felt like I was driving with 3 cylinders no power
bogging out. I check fuel pressure was fine, timing is good checked plugs. Replaced ignition coil and fuel filter still runs bad . Could it be the catalytic converter?
This is my daily driver and cant be without it any help please thanks

Did you verify the plug wires also?

My guess is TFI module.

My guess is TFI module.

Replaced tfi ,plugs, cap ,rotor, wires and removed cat checked fuel for water still no power.
what else bad valve maybe? Timings dead on.

Have you checked to make sure you are actually getting spark at the plugs???

Looks like its a bad head gasket the two center pistons not sure of firing order but when removing plug wires individually those two seem to be giving me the problem. Gasket must of went in between the those two pistons causing
lost compression.

Firing order is 1-3-4-2, rotor moves clockwise. Cylinder 1 is closest to the water pump; 4 is closest to the flywheel. Pistons 1 & 4 are up at same time; 2 & 3 are up at same time.

Ford has oem head gasket 44 $ is felpro better? what felpro part number if better

Fel-Pro 8993 is a lot cheaper. Works great.

Will do before tearing apart.

Head gasket went between 3 and 4 cylinders.
