Yep.....Mil Spec stuff does the job. Not just in electrical but fuel/oil/fastener hardware also. The "AN" on those hardware fittings we buy today stands for "Army/Navy" from back in the days when there was just the Dept of the Army and Dept of the Navy. The "Mil Spec" designation came about after WW2 when the Dept of Defense came about and controlled specifications for all services.
