If you have any sort of Capri affection in your soul, you'll join me in mourning the death of Uwe Bahnsen, head designer of the Mk2/Mk3 Capri. And celebrate his series of stunning Ford designs in Europe, which in turn affected US domestic models such as the Aero-Tbird and the SVO Mustang. Not to mention the entire line of Merkur products, plucked straight from his 1982 European Sierra drawings with a dash here and a geegaw there. Say hi to your friend and colleague Phil Clark for us, Mr. Bahnsen!
