Hello,
I am going to pull my motor and my lift hooks are mssing. I looked around a bit and didn't have any luck finding a set. Would like some recommentations where you have attached your chains. I will be using a load leveler so I have the option to use two or four anchor points.

thanks,
jack

I have always used the factory lifting hooks (exhaust side is same for all, intake is different between in-line and square intake).

You can use a long 10x1.5mm bolt for the upper rear exhaust mount (~70mm; stock length is 55mm) and fit one end of the chain over that. Then attach other chain end to the alternator bracket on the intake front side (take alt off, put bolt back through chain - maybe add spacers to keep chain toward front).

this is how ive always done it. if the exhaust bolts are being pains in the arse, you can lift it out by wrapping a smaller chain around the manifold itself as well. likely not a ford approved way to do it though...
