Square Intake Manifold with 94-95 5.0 Throttle body

Has anybody with a 85.5 or 86 SVO with the square intake manifold converted to a 94-95 5.0L throttle body using the adaptor plate kit from FORCED4. This worked out just fine with my 84 intake. Now when I go to bore out the square intake there is not very much extra material around the edges and it looks very likely that the wall will be breached in the process by taking some pretty precise measurements. Has anybody welded this area to build it up or installed a sleeve afterward? Would it be just as well to go back to the stock SVO throttle body. Thanks for any tips or suggestions!

You will need to fill weld the back side of the flange before boring.

Yes there is not allot of metal if you open it all the way up. I have gone through a few intakes playing arround. Normally I will just open as much as I can and smooth out the difference it may be only 60mm instead of 65. But if you are able as mentioned add some material and then go crazy.
