Speedo Cable Question

Looking for a speedo cable for my 9L project. Napa lists a 72" and a 76" long cable. Anyone know what the proper length is for an 86 SVO?

I have a NOS one in the shop somewhere. I will measure it sometime this week & post, if I remember.

I finally jacked up my SVO and measured. I came up with ~68 inches (ball-park since I didn't remove the cable where it goes through the firewall into the back of the speedo). So it looks like a 72" cable is the correct one.....

I measured two speedo cables from the shop and they seem to be about 71.5 ". Tricky little thing to measure. The cable itself protruded out maybe 1/4" on the gear end.

Summit says 72. One day from NAPA, BTW, looks like they have stock in the CT DC, and Enfield has 2 (!) in stock.
