Brakes dragging. My e brake is hanging up. Pulled wheels previous owner replaced pads and rotors and e brake lever and springs look like they are moving freely. I have not taken the calipers off but I suspect the pistons could be sticking? Anyone experience similar issues?

Check the internal auto=adjusters that are part of hte rear caliper internals. Those could be dry and sticking.

http://www.svocop.com/Articles/2/index.htmlhad to take wheels off and manually open calipers to get on trailer. New paint cracking under clear so back to painter. Going to be a while until I can get to it now. Lube with brake caliper grease?

Lube with brake caliper grease? The internal PB adjuster parts use a silicone grease. Thought I showed a pic of that.

Guilty as charged!on the same note this May sound like sacrilidge but are the rear calipers still available for purchase remanufactured?

Yes but get the steal piston type or they will drag. I forgot 2 years ago and am sorry now!

Yes but get the steal piston type or they will drag. I forgot 2 years ago and am sorry now! I've never seen other than a steel pistomn for the rear calipers. The parking brake adjuster is an internal part of the piston, so I don't see how it could not be steel.
