Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't think they reproduced, they are put on the engine that day of the build , everyone is different .

Is everyone different? I would think there would be blocks of decals that are the same until there was a new revision of some kind? Is the date on the decal the day the engine was built or the date of that particular version?

Ttey were only different as far as the engine calibration [code], of which there were like 5 total for the SVO across all years.

That's what I was thinking....but does the date change with the engine build or are there only 5 or so dates too?

My 84 build on 10/19/83 has a 8/24/83 engine tag date.

Can you print it up & make it look old & worn? Some of us don't want a newish looking label or part on our vehicles if we can avoid it;)

Thanks man. Not sure what the date exactly refers too, but it's correct for '86's. A few have submitted pics of their SVO's engine code decal which had this date on them.

Wow, that means my engine sat around 2 months? I thought somewhere I read it was the date of the calibration version but could be wrong.

Thank you, Ray. I'm happy that you are satisfied with it. It'll really 'freshen up' that engine compartment & finish that resto quite nicely.
