Squeaky steering column

Weather changed finally here in sunny Florida. Cool in the AM in the 50's. Steering column is squeaking. Any tricks to lube without pulling the wheel?

Pull the wheel and apply lithium grease to the horn contacts. Sorry, but pulling the wheel is not that big a deal.
