Schedule of events for Knott's weekend 2012

This is a tentative schedule and list of attendees until things get firmed up. It will be updated as things change.

Thursday, April 19, 2012:

Earlybirds arrive in Sunland, help load the SVOCOP BBQ, or help move it to the front of the driveway for ease of access later in the weekend. Then we break for a tour of one of the local race / restoration shops and dinner at one of the local restaurants. A tech session or two may erupt some time during the day.

Friday, April 20:

Meet at the Nethercutt Museum in Sylmar at 9:30AM. Grand Salon guided tour across the street starts at 10AM. Lasts ~2 hours.

~1 PM to 4 PM, depending on available time, Mulholland Drive tour. Either stop for lunch at Citywalk the end of Mulholland or we can pack a picnic lunch.

~6PM on, Cruise night at Bob's Big Boy in Toluca Lake and dinner if you're still hungry.

Saturday April 21:

Early Rodders meeting, 6:30AM till 8:30AM at Starbucks on Verdugo and the 2 FWY in Montrose.

Afternoon and evening, Go-Karting in Fullerton followed by BBQ at Vince and Diana's. A tech session or two may erupt.

Knotts Berry Farm, Fabulous Fords Forever show, usually followed by dinner at Fuddruckers in Buena Park.

I know that last years K1 Speed was a bust due to it being booked up. Do you want me to try and reserve something? Looks like the minimum is the Mini Grand Prix with a 14 lap qualifying and 16 lap race for $49 per person. Not sure on the minimum number needed.

I confirmed today with the Nethercutt Museum 23 people for the Friday April 20 tour of the Grand Salon starting at 9:45 AM from the museum across the street.
