Spearco Intercooler

I have a chance to pick up a Spearco Intercooler kit for my SVO. This is the SVO specific kit and has all hardware etc. I've read around a bunch and think this might be something I would like to do but have a couple of questions.

I have working AC that MUST stay. This will work with AC correct?
I have read conflicting info on if the kit requires any modification to fit. Sounds like some of the earlier kits were a bolt in and go where as some of the later ones need some 'help' to fit. Any advise?

My car is lowered an inch or so and I realize the scoop hangs low. Don't think I will have an issue with my car as an occasional driver with the roads I drive on but maybe I'm wrong.
Any other advise?

Can't give you any fitment advice, never bolted one up personally, but if it's the complete kit with brackets, piping and the adaptor pipe for the lower radiator hose, for $300, I'd just buy it!!!!

The adaptor moves the hose out of the way. or you can flip the hose 180 and it will still work. I made my first kits after the Spearco one. yes it will work with AC (mine did). for 300.00 it is worth it. IRC it was over 1000 new.
