So how crazy would it be to only run cooling to the stock water cooled turbo, forget the heater and water/oil cooler?

Could an external oil cooler be added somewhere in the system?

Scheming until repro cooling lines are available. ;)

I read one discussion about the (poor) effectiveness of the factory water/oil cooler but have no data to prove or disprove.

Have you tried Classic Tube for replacement lines?

There is a car on ebay right now, heavily damaged, that they are parting out. Have you called about those lines?

Classic tube only bends up to 1/2"

Didn't check on the line on the ebay listing....problem there is no way to know the condition of the lines, how well they will be removed even if they will remove them.

At the end of the day, don't want to end up buying old lines like I have now. ;)

Their website states 1/8" - 5/8". I have had several 1/4" and 3/8" tubes made for me over the years. What diameter is the line that you need?

What diameter is the line that you need? Some ae 1/2", some are 5/8" (and one of the 5/8 tube has a 1/2 nipple welded on). The one with the captuve flare nut is 1/2".
