84 SVO IRS Install

Has anyone done the Cobra IRS on an 84 SVO? I'm curious on how you attached the rear mounting points.

I know there are a few folks here that have done this conversion to SVOs, can't think there would any issues that are different on an 84. The fuel pump/filter are already out of the way.

Thanks for the info. Anything later than 85 1/2 has the quad shock mounting and I have seen that done using the quad shock bolt holes. I was wondering on a fox body without those.

Also, I am going to install the MM track package on the IRS and change to 3:73 gears on it. I also scored the tail pipes so I should be able to adapt to the dual exhaust system I have.

Did it on mine ten years ago.. Just mark and drill holes. Pretty straighforward deal. Have done it on a couple of other cars since and the quad shock holes did not line up exactly.
