Anyone running the SDS injection system. I'm curious how hard it is to use.

Thanks

Dave S now has Rob Wagner's ex SVO with an SDS in it. He was tuning it at out Sturgis outing last Labor Day. Maybe he can chime in once he sees this.

Al,
I'm pleased with the system overall (the car came with it). I still have more work to do on the tune, but winter has slowed me down.
If ordering a new system, SDS should supply you with a customized base tune which will be a good, close start.
Make sure you car runs on the stock controller before installing the SDS...it will make it easier to tune.
The system isn't hard to use; I'd be happy to send pictures of the install if you'd like.

Thanks Dave. I got a car that was track wrecked. It had a 350-400 hp motor in it with 72# injectors. It came with the SDS. I am just starting to think about the install in my 84 option delete car. Pictures would be great. It didn't look very neat in the track car. My email is badsvo@gmail.com.

Here are a few pictures of the dash mounted controllers/interface. It was done without any extra drilled holes; it mounts to the dash pad screws.59135914

I recall seeing if you send information regarding your car and engine, SDS will provide a base tune for $20. This, in my opinion, is well worth the money and will get you going with a tune close to what you need.

Mustang Al, the car you picked up, was it a 2A 86 that was wreaked at Seattle race way? If so I have PE out of the car. I also have an SDS system to install so if you post any progress pics would be a great help.
