MSD location

For you guys running a msd or any other ignition box where did you mount the unit ?

When I had my 90 fox I had it mounted on passenger side of tunnel inside car. looked cool there!

I had it mounted under the passengers seat and was getting a ton of electrical noise causing the msd to do some strange things .In my track cars I always mounted it on the trans tunnel with no issue . I changed the unit with a spare that I know was good same thing . I built a shielded harness that I did a temporary install routed along the same route as the harness and that seemed to take care of the issue.I am not real comfortable with the length of the harness as its rather long routed away from any thing that could cause an issue . I removed the msd from inside the car and mounted it in side the left front fender where the bumper cover and fender bolt together.The mount I built raises it as high as it will go protecting it from puddles as well as the windshield washer tank if it springs a leak. The harness is really short now and runs through the fender well runs good now no more issues.
