Recommendations on aluminum clutch quadrants

Anyone have any recommendations on aluminum clutch quadrants and firewall adjusters? I've heard that not all 5.0 quadrants work well in the SVO. Thanks!

I always used Steeda on my V8 cars. My son had UPR made in China junk and replaced it with Steeda also. Don't know why a quadrant wouldn't work on a SVO.

Thanks for reply. I've heard good things about the Steeda, I wound up ordering the Maximum Motorsports quadrant and firewall cable adjuster. When I get it installed I'll post back. Over at SVOCA there were some posts stating that some of the V8 quadrants would not work but they didn't go into much detail.

Just to follow up I installed the MM quadrant and firewall adjuster with no issues. I pulled the front seat and it made the job much easier than I anticipated. It's nice being able to adjust when the pedal engages; I have it adjusted so I don't have to mash the pedal into the floor anymore.

I just ordered the MM quadrant and firewall adjuster. I'll let you know how it goes. I replaced the plastic set back when the car was almost new and it was about an 8 hour job. Dash came out for that job!

careful how far out you adjust the firewall adjuster, too much and you will have a VERY expensive problem on your hands:

I expected it to take a while but with the front seat out it was easy to get up under the dash and install. The aluminum quadrant has two holes; one lines up with the shaft for the plastic quadrant and the other with the shaft for the plastic paw. The two shafts did not quite line up with the holes (they were really close) so I had to use a screw driver to pry very lightly on the paw shaft so the quadrant would slide on. You'll see what I mean when you get under there.

Good god SVOC how hard was it to push the pedal in? Did this happen with the MM quadrant/adjuster? I should have taken a picture with the MM quadrant next to the plastic quadrant but forgot; the MM quadrant looked to have a steeper ramp than the plastic quadrant. The MM quadrant takes more effort than the stock quadrant when the clutch pedal is depressed all the way down to the floor but higher up the pedel effort feels about like stock. With the adjuster adjusted out, where the pedal isn' t all the way down on the floor, the pedal effort feels about like stock.
