5 speed trans fluid

I know T-5 use auto tranny fluid, my question is do any of you use the GM syncro mesh or royal purple syncro max in your stick trannies? I had a friend in NY who used it in his tremec and claimed it improved shifting a lot. thoughts....

I used Synchromax in my T-5 that I had re-built as part of a "refreshening" of the entire car last year. No problems to report, thank goodness.

They will all work so will Red Line MTL.

Remember that the BW T5 series uses ATF viscosity fluids, NOT gear oil like what is used in the rear diff housing.

I heard the synthetics were not the way to go as the synchros need friction to work properly.
