I'm taking the race car to California Speedway Jan 18th (Saturday only) for some test and tune time. It's an CalClub Autocross practice event. Taking her out to see what falls off or comes loose. Hopefully all goes well and I'll be on the track this season.

After todays events, the decision is now final. I'm pulling the 2.6 out of the 1E and putting back in the mostly stock numbers matching block. Then the 2.6 is going into the race car. Then the 1E will probably go up for sale. Putting back on the ported upper had obviously caused some tuning problems. Car wouldn't run right. Then got pretty hot. Then got another exhaust leak. Arrg. I just want a car that runs.
