Where to buy a real OEM radiator

My radiator is toast, someone had installed a nice fat aluminum aftermarket one, but it's very old and severly corroded and leaks in bottom right corner. No wonder the driver's side of the rad and support were covered in dried up orange coolant, see rust. I had removed it and flushed all the crap out and then it started to leak out of a corner weld/seam.
My question is, all the normal chain stores have the cheap aluminum, plastic tank junky rads, anyone know where you can still get a real copper/brass metal tank radiator like original?

I look for oem radiators and just have it recored. I have had zero overheating issues with a recore ... while Georgia does not get as hot as Nevada... still gets pretty warm in the summer.

Sadly, there are plenty of cars being parted out right now... should be fairly easy to get one.

That's a good idea. I hadn't really thought of going that route. Now that you mention it I saw an 86 LX with a 2.3 at the junkyard yesterday. It had the same electric fan set up as the SVO by the looks. It was an auto though so had the tranny cooler and hook ups.

And yes it is sad about the part outs. Good thing they aren't close to me. That prevents them form getting MY money.

Ford/Motorcraft stopped making them probably 10 years ago.
Look for the Ford logo stamped on the top cross brace.

Are you looking to restore back to original? If not, stick with the aluminum and throw in a new aftermarket 3-core. You'll appreciate the additional cooling capacity on hot days in traffic with the AC on, or if you ever do any autocrossing. The OE size radiator just doesn't do the job adequately under those conditions, even when new.

Thanks for the feedback guys, that's what I feared that the origianl style is obsolete. I wanted to register it tomorrow, but here in nevada the car needs to go to dmv for a vin check/verification for all out of state car purchases.

NPD has original style (brass/copper) but they are expen$ive:
