Re balance?

I am getting CP pistons and Crower rods. I don't know what the pistons weigh but the rods are 24 grams lighter than stock. I know the pistons should all weigh the same and the rods should weigh the same on both ends and over all. With different weights than stock should the crank be re balanced?
Mike you lightened your crank what is the reason for that?

The crank I have was lightened to remove weight. Supposedly that makes it quicker to rev-up while it also reduces the vibration loads when it's spinning at high RPMs.

You should ask your local balancing shop but I den;t thinki hte 2.3L crank is balanced with weights i=on the rod pins - wouldn't make any difference if the weights added are all the same. I suspect the crank is balanced to zero, the flywheel/clutch is balanced to zero, rods are balanced to each other, and pistons to each other. But balancing technology may have changed in the last decade.
